Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American performer and actress. She was awarded the best actress award for her roles in Nashville, the 2012 drama, as Layla Grant. She also received the award for Sharknado 2013, where she portrayed Claudia Shepard. In 2015, she played her role as Jerrica Jem for the film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. She is the younger sibling of Ally. Aubrey was a performer at The Orlando Repertory Theatre in her young age for about 10 years. Aubrey is a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School and was awarded valedictory honors for the class of 2012 as she completed her studies. Harvard University was willing to admit her. However, she turned down the opportunity twice. It was the second time that it was due to her desire to perform in Nashville. Peeples guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) as well as an recurring role on Necessary Roughness (1991). The actress was also seen in the television movies Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective as well as The Good Mother. She was one of the main characters on the Nashville series, in which she was Layla Grant.
